Mail Love

Mail Love

Lookey, Lookey what I got in the mail today!!! A huge lot of vintage embroidery and cross stitch transfer patterns from ebay that W won for me. There are some really exciting things in it. I can't wait to share it with you guys as I go through them.

By the way, does anyone have good storage ideas for old transfer patterns? I'd like to develop some kind of binder or portfolio where I can unfold all of these and keep them in archival sleeves.

Check back for more details on the contents of this exciting package :)

I thought I'd take a peek over here, since we were conversating.

That pile of paper does look tremendously exciting! Of course I'm a big geek for ephemera *and* textiles. . . . You'll have to let me know what kind tips you get. I have a stash of transfer patterns that could use archiving as well.

love you

oh.. nothing better then a huge pile of MAIL! As long as there are no envelopes with windows! Just handwritten deliciousness. Those are the rules!

How about storing your patterns in those vinyl/plastic scrapbook sleeves? They're already meant for archival purposes and everything.

I wish I was more crafty. I used to think that I was, but now I realize that I am SO not. :o)
