sneak peak

here's a little sneak peak at an alphabet project I am undertaking....
I should have some more details shortly.
Any guesses on what I might be planning?

First Belly Shots

The first of my belly shots--the grey dress is a bit deceiving...
This is at about 7 weeks pregnant
These are at about 10 weeks pregnant...again the grey dress makes it look a bit bigger than it really is.

Sorry for the poor quality photos--we don't get great light in our condo....

Remember I said there was a lot going on?

Well, the thing is, W and I have found out that we are going to be parents in September. We were waiting for our first appointment to make it public, but now after our first appointment and after hearing the little one's heartbeat, we are ready to tell the world!

For those of you who have never read my other blog, W and I have been "trying" for around 2 1/2 years with no hint of any success. Not feeling comfortable with any infertility treatments we had pretty much decided that we would not have children. And then BANG (so to speak) it just happened.

So far so good. I haven't had much morning sickness at all and my energy levels have been relatively good too. We have been overwhelmed with the love and support of all our friends and family so far. We know this kid will be truly loved by all members of our life.

So, that is the big news that I've been telling you I would write about later. I'm sure I'll have tons to write about during the course of the next 8 months, but I don't want this to turn into a pregnancy blog, so I'll try to keep crafty goodness coming as well.....

Cheers :)

Oh and we're pretty sure that we conceived this child the night of my work's ugly sweater Christmas party. I must admit I got totally hammered that night and parts of it are a blur, but I'm pretty convinced that it was the mustache that did the trick!

I haven't dropped off the face of the earth...

Yet...
No, things have been crazy around these parts. There are a lot of things going on, that I PROMISE I will fill you in on soon, when I have more time to write. For now, here are a few things I recently made to order. I think the beet onesie may be the most interesting custom order I've ever done, but frankly, I think it looks really great.
More soon...I promise!

This super cutie is my little nephew. I miss him so much!
