I have these great white ceramic containers that used to have candles in them. I've collected a lot of them, knowing that there was something i could do with them after the candles were used up. So, I came up with the idea to plant crocus bulbs in them. I planted them in late October/early November and kept them in the refridgerator for awhile to make them think it was winter. Then I pulled them out and put them in a sunny window at home and at work.
Here they are just popping up through the soil in early December.

This is how much they grew by the end of December.

And by the middle of January the flowers were starting to show themselves.

I'll post another photo when they come into full bloom.

And,... here they are in full-bloom in late January!!!!
